a class for you. The classes are surprisingly
inexpensive and some classes allow you to start

Beginning
Computing: IC3
IC3 is a beginning computer class designed for
anyone planning to use computing skills at home
or in the office. The class focuses on three main areas: Computing Fundamentals,
Key
Applications, and Online Activity. Anyone
interested in learning computing or enhancing
limited skills should enroll in IC3. IC3 uses MS
2007.
QuickBooks 2008
Learn to apply basic computing and accounting
principles through QuickBooks©. Using this
program students develop skills to enable them
to create invoices, accounts receivable, enter
sales receipts, track transactions, write
checks, manage accounts, and much more.
Computer Literacy
A basic course for those with little or no
experience and for those who have limited access
to a computer. Get an overview of Windows
terminology and function, use of mouse, start up
and shut down, how to used File Manager,
Internet/Outlook and basic document creation.
You will also learn how to purchase the right
computer to fit your needs.

Un curso básico para aquellas personas que
tienen un poco o nada de experiencia. Los cursos
se enfocan en la terminologia y función
de windows, el uso del Mouse, el cómo encender y

Level
I and II
Students must meet with the counselor for
approval BEFORE enrolling in this class
for high school credit.
Prepare for entry level and/or advanced
employment in today's automated office
environment. Earn a certificate in each level by
completing the required assignments and reaching
competency in the skill areas. Students must
have completed competencies in Level I before
moving into Level II. Prerequisites: computer
literacy or demonstrated computer skill.
