English as a Second Language  

Listening, speaking, reading and writing English for non-English speaking adults. Beginning with simple levels and progressing to advanced levels for students who want to learn the English language, American life skills, government, history, and citizenship preparation.

Clases de inglés como segundo idioma y de ciudadanía

Designado para personas adultas que desean estudiar el inglés para hablarlo, leerlo, escribirlo, y comprenderio. Empiezan al nivel de principiante y a niveles avanzados aquellos estudiantes que quieren aprender sobre el gobierno, historia, preparación para el examen de ciudadanía, y las habilidades para desenvolverse en la vida diaria.

English as a Second Language/Citizenship

The purpose of this program is to prepare individuals to pass the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) approved examinations. All instruction is given in English.

For Citizenship, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service requires:

  • Five years legal residency in the United States or
  • Three years legal residency in the United States if married to a U.S. citizen

Inglés como segundo idioma/ciudadanía

El propósito de este programa es preparar a las personas para que aprueben el examen de naturalización (INS). Toda la instrucción se da en inglés.

Para la ciudadanía, los Servicios de Inmigración y Naturalización de los Estados Unidos requiere:

  • Cinco años de residencia legal en los Estados Unidos o
  • Tres años de residencia legal en los Estados Unidos si está casado con un ciudadano americano
